Removals in Shawlands mean red-sandstone tenements off Pollokshaws Road and Kilmarnock Road, often top-floor flats with long stairs and shared closes. Strathbungo adds conservation-area terraces around Moray Place. Main roads are busy and side streets fill up, so we plan the start time and parking before the day.
Tenements around Queen's Park, Langside and Battlefield, with plenty of top-floor flats and tight turns on the stair. In Mount Florida, event days at Hampden Park change traffic and parking around the stadium, so we check the fixtures and plan the date and route around them.
Large Victorian villas on wide, leafy streets in the conservation area, plus tenements in East Pollokshields. Villa moves mean more rooms, period furniture and artwork, so careful wrapping and the right crew size are planned in from the start.
Sandstone semis, bungalows and cottage flats on quieter residential streets. Access is usually easier than in a tenement, but we still plan every move to the hour, with packing and disassembly ready if you want them.
